I'm as quick as a cheater chasing a dog.
I'm as slow as my brother going as fast as he can. 
I'm as large as a building in Auckland city. 
I'm as happy as a clown doing tricks. 
I'm as cold as a snowball.

    You have written some great similes. My favourite is the I'm as happy as a clown doing tricks". What is a simile and why do we use them in our writing?
